In today's article we would like to present you a modern house in Guadalajara, Mexico. Casa OM1 was developed by Andrés Escobat of AE Arquitectos and recently completed. This contemporary home was designed to interact with the surrounding nature. At the back of the house in the backyard there is a supporting, sloping stone wall that is completely covered with plants. Casa OM1 fascinates with a wooden roof with integrated, concealed lighting. The highlight inside is undoubtedly the modern staircase with glass railings. The main living area of the house can be opened to the backyard and swimming pool.
The wooden roofwith attractive, concealed lighting serves as a canopy for the outdoor dining area and kitchen. Both the covered outdoor dining area and the entire living area are bathed in a soft, warm light that gives the rooms a pleasant, calm and serene atmosphere. The light sources that conjure up a romantic ambience are LED ceiling lamps and pendant lights in a simple and elegant design. The low stairs that allow the transition from the outside to the inside also shine in a soft light. The risers are illuminated and provide a subtle play of light in the evening.
Indoors, the living area, dining area and kitchen share the same space. Both sides of the room can be opened up to form a small, green oasis. Thehigh ceilingensures sufficient light and comfort in the living area. The spacious, open-concept living area has been decorated in warm beige and brown tones, creating homeliness. The material wood, which was predominantly used in modern furnishings, can be found as floor coverings, furniture, ceiling panels and cladding. The long pendant lights hanging from the highest point of the ceiling above the dining table give the room additional height.
Directly next to the main living area there is an inner courtyard, which creates a small oasis of well-being thanks to the many beautiful green plants and a water feature. Subtle lighting near the water and floor lights between the plants create great accents in the courtyard. A glass wall offers an unrestricted view of the beautiful, green paradise from the hallway. In the hallway and along the inner courtyard is the impressive staircase with glass railings. It represents a modern mix of materials made of wood, steel and glass and corresponds perfectly with the sliding glass doors, which allow the interior and the green backyard to flow into one another and merge into a whole. The elegant staircase with glass railings leads to the upper floor of the cozy and contemporary house in Mexico.
