Indian curry recipe: instructions for the spicy curry sauce

For an Indian curry recipe you need the following ingredients:

Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
Margarine – 1 EL
1 onion
Ingwer – 1 EL
Garlic cloves – 4-5
Cinnamon (ground) – 1 tbsp
Pepper (ground) – 1 tbsp
Coriander (ground) – 2 tbsp
Cumin (ground) – 2 tbsp
Turmeric (ground) – ½ tbsp
Cayennepfeffer – 1 EL
2 tomatoes
2 rote Chillies
Coriander – 7 stems
Yogurt – 120 ml
Water – 500 ml

Prepare the curry sauce

And this is how the delicious curry sauce is prepared. First cut or dice the onion. Then put the sunflower oil and margarine in a pot, pour lukewarm water and sauté the onion over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Grate the ginger and add it to the onion.

Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the onion. Saute for two more minutes. Season to taste with the cinnamon, pepper, ground coriander, cumin, turmeric and cayenne pepper. Simmer over medium heat until the liquid evaporates.

Cut the tomatoes, chillies and coriander stalks into large pieces, add parsley and puree finely.The delicious saucePour into the pot and simmer until thickened.

Pour the yoghurt carefully and slowly and stir in. Pour hot water and bring to a boil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve the curry sauce with chicken and naan bread in deep plates.
