Ingredients

For the cherry soup:

  • 600 grams of sour cherries from the jar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

For the clods:

  • 250 grams of wheat flour

  • 120 ml milk

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • A pinch of salt

  • Put the sour cherries in a saucepan with the liquid and sugar and bring to the boil over medium heat.
  • Put all the ingredients for the flour dumplings in the mixer and knead into a smooth dough using the dough hook.
  • Scoop out small dumplings with a spoon and add them to the boiling soup in the pot.
  • Then let it simmer for another 10 minutes and voilà – your cherry soup with dumplings is ready!
