Rich, absolutely irresistible and decadent - that's the best way to describe these moist cherry brownies. The delicious dessert is a chocolate lover's dream come true and is one of the tastiest cherry recipes we have ever tried.
Ingredients
- 120 grams of wheat flour
- 150 grams unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 300 grams of granulated sugar
- 3 Owner
- 70 grams of cocoa powder
- 200 grams of dark chocolate
- 250 grams of cherries
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (160 degrees fan) and lightly grease a square baking pan with butter and line it with baking paper.
- Combine the butter and 100 grams of sugar in a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved. Set aside and let cool slightly.
- Place the eggs and remaining sugar in a large bowl and beat with a hand mixer for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add butter mixture to egg mixture and stir until smooth.
- Mix wheat flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in a separate bowl and gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Pit and halve the cherries and chop the chocolate into small pieces.
- Add chocolate and cherries to the dough and mix.
- Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for about 38-40 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely and voilà – your moist brownies with cherries are ready!

- Make juicy cheesecake brownies out of them - For the cheesecake filling, mix 200 grams of cream cheese with 50 grams of powdered sugar and 1 egg and pour the mixture onto the brownie dough. Then whisk with a fork and bake for 45 minutes. And your cheesecake brownies with cherries are ready.
- To make the brownies vegan, replace the butter with coconut oil and the eggs with 20 grams of ground flaxseed mixed with 120 ml of water.
