Although mulled wine is usually made with red wine, I really like the white wine version. I tried it for the first time while visiting a friend and although I usually stay away from sweet drinks (due to the hangover), this recipe won me over with its lovely aroma and citrusy, zesty taste. So, if you want to make a white mulled wine yourself that is not too sweet like the red classic, read this article!
What is the best white wine for mulled wine?
To make mulled wine, it is recommended to choose a dry but full-bodied wine with a touch of fruitiness, as you will add spices and fruits that make the wine sweet. Additionally, do not choose wine that has been aged in oak, as this will give the wine a sweet vanilla note.

Like storing and warming up
6 liters of wine is no joke. So it's quite possible that you'll have some left over. If this is the case, strain out the citrus fruits and spices to prevent the mulled wine from becoming bitter. Then store it in a pitcher in the fridge and pour a cup when needed. To gently warm the white mulled wine, simply place it on the stove over low heat for about a minute to prevent the alcohol from boiling away.
