  • 1 kg small to medium red or yellow potatoes
  • 1 tbsp plus 1/4 tsp fine sea salt, divided
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, chives and/or green onions

Preparation:

  • Scrub the potatoes if they are dirty and rinse them under running water. Remove anddiscard all germsand place the potatoes in a large pot.
  • Fill the pot with water until the potatoes are submerged and covered with 1 inch of additional water. Add 1 tablespoon salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook until they can be easily pierced with a fork (smaller potatoes will be done in about 20 minutes, medium ones in about 25 minutes).
  • While the potatoes are cooking, preheat the oven to 400°F and drizzle a large rimmed baking sheet with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Then distribute the oil evenly with a brush.
  • When the potatoes are cooked, drain them in a large colander and cool until safe to handle, about 5 minutes.

  • 1 kg potatoes (Yukon Gold or Carisma)

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to medium-high heat (around 200°C).
  • Put the cleaned potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring them to the boil. Cook them covered for 30-35 minutes and drain well.

  • 1kg sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs such as coriander, parsley etc.

Preparation:

  • Cut the washed sweet potatoes into thirds – or even 4 or 5 pieces if you have very large sweet potatoes. We recommend leaving the peel on, but you can also peel it.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
