Preparation:

  • Mix wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
  • Place butter, egg, sugar, sour cream and vanilla extract in a separate bowl and beat with a hand mixer until fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture and mix everything into a smooth dough.
  • Place the dough covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, roll out the dough on a floured work surface to about 5 mm thin and cut out cookies in any shape.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and allow to cool completely.
  • In the meantime, prepare the icing. To do this, sift the powdered sugar into a bowl.
  • Add lemon juice and mix until smooth.
  • Then gradually add a little water and mix until you get the desired consistency.
  • Add food coloring and mix lightly.
  • Spread the icing on the cookies and let them dry completely for about 1 hour.
  • Finally, decorate the cookies with the sugar writing to your heart's content and voilà - you have the perfect dessert for Valentine's Day!

Heart-shaped brownies with raspberry filling

Beautifully moist, chocolaty and filled with a wonderful raspberry cream - these heart-shaped brownies are a real eye-catcher and ideal for a quick and easy Valentine's Day dessert!

Brownie ingredients:

  • 100 grams of wheat flour
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 110 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 3 Owner
  • 100 grams dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 TL Espresso-Pulver
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
  • A pinch of salt

Raspberry cream:

  • 500 grams of raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 300 grams butter, soft
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 40 grams of cornstarch
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt

Preparation of brownies:

  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Heat butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Remove from the heat and gradually stir in the sugar and then the eggs. Mix well.
  • Add espresso powder, salt and vanilla extract and stir.
  • Gradually add wheat flour and mix everything into a smooth dough.
  • Bake the brownies for about 20 minutes and let them cool completely.
  • To make the raspberry cream, first puree the raspberries, put them in a small pot and bring to the boil.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and sieve the fruit through a sieve.
  • Add the raspberries back to the pot and simmer over low heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Mix the sugar, cornstarch and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix with the raspberry puree using a whisk.
  • Simmer for 1-2 minutes and let the sauce cool completely.
  • Beat the soft butter with a hand mixer until fluffy for 10 minutes and gradually stir in the raspberry mixture. Mix well.
  • Cut out small hearts from the brownies using cookie cutters and spread the raspberry cream on half of the brownies.
  • Top with another brownie heart and press down lightly. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and you have the perfect romantic dessert for Valentine's Day!
