This rustic house is a holiday home located in Spain. The owners hired the Mesura team to do some renovations. This also includes the kitchen, which we would like to show you in this article. Although the house already had a large living room with a kitchen, it was decided to redesign the old and unused kitchen on the ground floor. The successful result that comes from thisDesign kitchenwas achieved, you can take a closer look in the following gallery.
The design team's idea was toto create a kitchen, which guarantees easy access to the terrace and garden. Since there was previously only one window and no possibility of access directly to the outside area, the kitchen was enlarged so that a dining area could also be created in the kitchen. In this way, the old and at the same time new room is transformed into the center of the house.
Design kitchen with seating area
The existing terrace, where the owners had previously spent a lot of time, was used and added to the kitchen. Some modern elements such as steel and large window fronts were used to design the kitchen and more precisely for the construction of the extension, but on the whole the furnishing ideas for the kitchen adapt to the rustic style of the rest of the furnishings. The large sliding windows have shutters. A wooden door is in turn combined with folding shutters, which can be opened fully or partially as desired.
