BMW 7 Series 2017 – The luxurious lightweight hybrid

BMW has presented its new 7 Series, namely the BMW G11/12. The company relies on lightweight construction, which makes the model 130 kg lighter. The material used for this purpose is a mix of carbon, aluminum and steel. This also reduces consumption, among other things. The BMW 7 Series 2017 is also offered as a hybrid, as well as with the standard wheelbase 740e, and with a cauffeur version on the 740Le. If desired, this can also be combined with the xDrive all-wheel drive system.

TheBMW740Le xDrive is powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine. There is also an electric motor with a range of 40 km and a top speed of 120 km/h. The different models have an impressive consumption of just 2.1 liters per 100 km. For the electric motor, this is a value of 12.5 kW/h. There is also a 6 and 8 cylinder petrol engine. The top engine, TwinPower Turbo V8 with a displacement of 4.4 liters and an output of 450 hp and 650 Nm, is in turn installed in the 750i xDrive.

You can take a closer look at the new series models in the following gallery, where there are also two variants for the interior.
