We have put together 24 words of wisdom for you as a print template for the Advent calendar, which you can print out for free. This tradition is no longer about expensive content. What is more important is the gesture alone, the effort and the time that you put into making a homemade calendar. That's why simple sayings are a wonderful idea for a DIY Advent calendar - whether exclusively or simply as an addition to the actual, everyday gift.
How you use them is up to you, depending on what kind of Advent calendar you have chosenhave crafted: Just put them in small bags or hang them on a string of lights with clips, stick them on a board and hide them behind tear-off paper, or come up with something interesting yourself.
You can also use the templates to label the calendar: Instead of labeling all the doors with numbers, attach our wisdom with the number facing up. To do this, simply hole the circle once and thread string through the hole. Then tie it tight. In principle, this idea works for any type of Advent calendar, whether it's a little house, a bag or a box.

How to use our contemplative sayings
You have two options for using the templates for the Christmas reflection quotes and words of wisdom:
- Print the templates on both sides.
This way the front and back will automatically line up and all you have to do is cut out the circles. Now you can put them in the door or punch them and tie them up, depending on what type of calendar you have planned.
- Print all four pages individually.
Then cut out the circles and glue the numbers onto the sayings (back to back). This can be practical if you decide the arrangement yourself and would like a specific saying on a specific day. Or maybe your Advent calendar already has the numbers on it and you just need the sayings to go with itto the giftsto lay.
