Do your own wedding make-up: smokey eyes and red lips

Wedding make-up should not always be subtle and girly. The smokey eye look as bridal make-up has been totally “in” in recent years. The smoky effect can be achieved excellently without too much black. We'll show you how to create smokey eyes in warm brown tones. Matte red lips go perfectly with this.

Wedding make-up – instructions with pictures:

1. Prime eyelids with concealer to help your eyeshadow adhere better. You can also apply an eyeshadow base.

2. Blend the concealer gently with your fingers and a makeup sponge.

3. To set, apply setting powder with a flat foundation brush.

4. Using a crease brush, pick up eyeshadow in ocher brown and place it in the crease of the eyelid and in the outer corner of the eye.

5. To eliminate harsh lines, additionally blur with a blending brush.

6. Now apply the eyeshadow in taupe to the outer third of the lid.

7. Blend the eyeshadow transitions with the large blending brush.

8. Using the crease brush and some dark eyeshadow, shade the outer corners of the eyelid.

9. And blend the eyeshadow again with the blending brush.

10. Fill the tip of the crease brush with the black shade and dab it on the outer corner of the eye, near the lash line.

11. And blend again.

12. Using a flat eyeshadow brush, pick up the white, shimmering eyeshadow and apply it to the inner corner of the eye. The light tone visually enlarges the eye and ensures an open, radiant look.

13. Paint the upper waterline with black eyeliner.

14. Before applying the mascara, work on the eyelashes with the eyelash curler.

15. After shaping, mascara the upper lashes.

16. Comb the brows with eyebrow gel.

17. Soak a cotton pad with micellar water and use it to clean the face and eye area.

18. Apply moisturizer all over face.

19. Work the pore-filling primer into the skin using circular movements.

20. Now spread the foundation over the face using gentle dabbing movements.

21. To blend, slightly moisten the sponge.

22. Use concealer to cover dark circles and emphasize the center of the face.

23. Finally, even out with a makeup sponge.

24. Apply concealer under the eyes with setting powder and a flat foundation brush.

25. Use the large fluffy face brush to spread the powder over the entire face.

26. Contour the face with bronzing powder and a sculpting brush.

27. Apply blush with an angled blush brush.

28. Apply some highlighter to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and Cupid's bow using the tapered contour brush.

29. Line the lips with red lip liner.

30. Then fill in your lips with red lipstick.
