Make-up instructions in 4 steps + make-up tips

We have put together a step-by-step guide to help you create easy daytime make-up! These are the products you need for this:

  • Moisturizer
  • Primer
  • Foundation (or BB, CC cream)
  • Concealer (optional)
  • Eyeshadow
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Lipstick/Lip Gloss
  • Make-up brush/sponge

Step 1: Prep your skin and even out your complexion

It is important to follow a proper skin care routine before applying makeup. Start by applying moisturizer and then use sunscreen. If you want your makeup to last longer, we recommend applying a primer. It also serves as a basis for your make-up.

After prepping your skin, apply a layer of foundation (or BB, CC cream) starting from the center of your face. Using a brush or sponge, spread the foundation outward in circular motions if you want light coverage, or in dabbing motions if you want heavier coverage. This will give you an even complexion.

  • Tipp: You can use concealer if necessary. If the foundation has the coverage you want, you can skip the concealer.

To seal makeup, use a powder that mattifies your skin and leaves it looking shine-free. A makeup routine is never complete without applying powder. Use a fluffy powder brush and apply the powder all over the face, especially the T-zone and under-eye area.

Step 2: Apply blush and highlighter

Take a blush and dab it onto your apples of the cheeks using a fluffy blush brush. Blend it upwards onto your cheekbones near your temples. You can choose an earthy peach or pink tone. Start by applying just a light layer of the product. If the color is too pale, only then apply another one.

To make your face look luminous, use a cream or powder-based highlighter in a silver or gold shade and apply it to the upper parts of your face, such as: B. over the cheekbones, on the bridge of the nose and in the middle of the forehead. You can either use a brush or your fingers for this step.

Step 3: Highlight the eyes and brows

For eye make-up, choose the color of your choice, but since it is light daytime make-up, stick to nude tones, which only slightly catches the eyeemphasize and give depth to the look. Apply the product to a flat or fluffy brush and apply to the lid. Blend it in a circular motion towards the crease. Use only one shade.

Then apply the eyeliner. You can use an eyeliner pencil or a liquid eyeliner - whichever you prefer (we recommend an eyeliner as it doesn't smudge as easily as a pencil). Make sure that you draw the line close to the lash line and as thinly as possible as this is light makeup.

Eyebrows are also an important part of makeup. Therefore, it is essential to shape and fill them in with an eyebrow pencil that is very similar to their color.

To complete your eye makeup, curl your eyelashes and then apply mascara. Start at the base of the eyelashes and use the curling wand to coat the eyelashes up to the tips.

  • Tipp: Apply more mascara at the roots, not along the lashes, as excess product along the lashes will weigh them down.
