The architects from Design & Creative Associates recently completed their project for a modern office building in Tahara City, Aichi, Japan. The entire area of 300 square meters is spread over two levels and houses several Village Foods Co. offices and conference rooms. The company deals with food and beverages for restaurants in the region and needed enough space not only for its employees, but also to receive current and future partners. The building inside and out is designed in a trendy industrial style. The spacious rooms and furnishings create a loft atmosphere. The wooden tiles on the wall and ceiling give the interior a cozy and inviting look.
Industrial style office building
The cozy atmosphere can still be felt in the reception area. These give the multiple wooden elements that are beautifully combined with robust materials such as stone, steel and mosaic. Wooden tiles on the wall, floor and asCeiling panelingcreate a living atmosphere and you feel at home. Chic, classic Chesterfield-style seating and harmonious lighting make the time in the waiting area much more pleasant.
Wooden tiles on the wall in modern office building
On the ground floor, next to the waiting area, there is a kitchen that is available to employees and also the toilets. A wide wooden staircase with steel railings leads to the second level. There is a meeting table and individual office and conference rooms, which are separated from each other by glazed partitions. The construction of the glazing and the railings are made of black steel, which is characteristic of the popular industrial or loft style.
In addition to the typical industrial lighting with several spotlights, the details in the interior are properly highlighted by additional accent lighting. The beautiful design lights draw the viewer's attention to certain points and accents. This means that structures such as the wooden tiles on the wall, natural stone cladding and individual areas are shown to better advantage.
The designers separated the areas primarily using industrial wooden sliding doors. In these places a contrast is created between the different structures and materials such as wood, steel, glass, natural stone and tiles. This combination of different looks has become a characteristic style element for the entire interior design.
