Facade in gray and bright interior

A modern single-family home in Los Angeles, California was designed using the principle of contrast inside and out. A modern facade in gray, plastered similar to concrete, provides a bright, homely, friendly interior. Color accents provide an individual touch when entering the red front door. The red elements are present more or less in every room of the architect's house, including the baby's room, except for the bathrooms.

The house has little outdoor space, but the atmosphere is still...Interior positive moodthrough exclusively white wall paint and the use of a light wood look. The gray facade is transferred to the common room - living room with open kitchen - as a design element and is reflected in the concrete floor.

Simple wooden furniture and comfortable furniture with chic upholstery create a fresh, playful, but at the same time stylish atmosphere. In addition to traditionally handcrafted pieces of furniture, you can also see some in the typical mid-century style. Decorative elements such as lights, carpets and artistic pictures on the walls make the living spaces appear modern and individual.

Wood is prominent in every room, including the bathroom, where a luxury sauna is integrated and ensures the well-being of the residents.
