People already knew about the therapeutic effect of the water. Spa and wellness centers are still popular places for retreat, relaxation and a meeting point for interesting encounters. In addition, they offer an almost borderless freedom for design visions of architects. We present a selection of wellness baths that represent successful synthesis from spa comfort and modern architecture.

The architecture is influenced by the traditional architectural elements and the latest trends. The interior design of the Mikve Rajel bath house in Mexico City is a draft from Pascal Arquitectos. Elements from the Jewish region were at theInterior designskillfully used. Rainwater is collected here, stored in the pool (Mikve) and used as part of a cleaning ritual.

The Tamina Therme in the Swiss spa town of Bad Ragaz with its beautiful architecture offers a comprehensive range of wellness treatments. In contrast to the monolithic structures of other bathrooms, the wood construction captivates with optical lightness. For the therapeutic effect of theSpa experienceLight is indispensable. 7.5 meters high oval windows offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding park landscape. The bath house was designed by the Zurich architecture firm Smolenicky & Partner with high precision and design imagination. The dominant effect of the concave columns increases the recovery effect.

Thanks to comprehensive technical know-how, the architecture Studio Sid Lee Architecture has succeeded in integrating a center into a ferry ship from the 1950s. Bota Bota Spa is 3.150 square meters in size, with 5 decks and 600 portholes that leave in sufficient daylight. However, the renovated floating construction conveys a feeling of privacy.
Budapesti Muhely office renovated the 400 -year -old thermal bath Rácz in Budapest. Interiors from different epochs combine into a harmonious ensemble and appear in new splendor.

Scandinave Les Bais Vieux Montréal is a project by Saucier + Perrotte Architects. The spa was expanded in a former warehouse in the old town of Montreal. The irregularities on floors, walls and ceilings are reminiscent of a natural environment.

Exclusive membrane facade and high-gloss interior architecture give the SPA center a unique appearance. Glass, ceramic and epoxide was used for the design of the four -storey center.
