“Deadlines” Season 3: The funniest German comedy series is back on ZDFneo!

The world situation is bleak, the weather is terrible, the stress of the end of the year is annoying. The only thing that helps is humor. Our tip: the German comedy series “Deadlines”. Because the series is the funniest thing German television has produced in a long time. The four Frankfurt friends are strange, honest, sometimes mean and yet profound. Great fun!

The Goldstein Girls from Frankfurt, Jo (Salka Weber), Elif Jasmin Shakeri), Lena (Sarah Bauerett) and Franzi (Llewellyn Reichman), are approaching 40 in the third season of the comedy series “Deadlines”. But that doesn't mean that the foursome's everyday chaos will somehow subside. Elif meets the most beautiful man in the world and has the best sex of her life. Jo deals with her failed career as a singer and ADHD diagnosis in therapy. Franzi finally has a child and is learning dwarven language, but somehow she imagined being a mother differently. And Lena has a severely disabled partner and is afraid of losing her foster daughter... It won't be boring with the four friends.

Good humor can sometimes hurt. Far too few people in Germany dare to face this kind of hardship. Only then does it get really fun. And deeper. Of course, only if toughness is balanced with empathy. But the makers of “Deadlines” (directed this time by Sonja Heiss) have managed to do exactly this balancing act for the third time. Nobody is spared. Especially not the main characters themselves. Sometimes you have to swallow while watching, but most of the time you laugh out loud. In addition to the brilliant main cast, there are guest appearances from Stipe Erceg, Jan Henrik Stahlberg and Oliver Polak. Great recommendation!
