Dolce Vita in Paris: With her first retrospective "Du Cœur à la Main", Dolce & Gabbana is now delightful!

An exhibition like an "open love letter to Italian culture" is said by the Italian luxury labelDolce & Gabbana. And this love can be felt in each of the exhibition rooms. Italy is not only the home of the two designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, but also their great love and inspiration. Just think of the handbag icon "Sicily" or the colorful Sicilian prints.

And so this first exhibition seems to be a surge of the designer duo-in front of her home country, before creativity, but especially before the perfection of craftsmanship. Opened in Milan last year, "Du Cœur à la Main: Dolce & Gabbana" has now conquered the Grand Palais in Paris.

The designers emphasize the importance of architecture and decoration, inspired by Italian art and architecture, such as the Palazzo Farnese and the frescoes of Annibale Carracci. Her collections reflect admiration for masters such as Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci and the fusion of sacred and sensual, inspired by baroque theatrics. The exhibition also shows the meaning of the color black and the motif of the holy heart in its creations. A special cooperation with the artist Anh Duong combines art and fashion in an introspective journey through Italian cities.

"Du Cœur à la Main: Dolce & Gabbana" daily until March 31st in the Grand Palais in Paris.
