All of be capitalistically motivated. Since Donald Trump has been back in power again, there has been a zeitgeist in America that can be understood quite quickly as the term anti-Woke. And if you continue to work, exist and make profit in this America as a company, you have to bow to this zeitgeist. The political phrase go woke, go broke, the rights in America for years, could now become a bitter reality. And that for the whole world.
The anti-wakenness is everywhere
In France you are already advertising at bus stops for the Omerta magazine. Here are cover stars, for example, Putin, one of the last editions provoked with the title line Anti-Woke: in the war against the plagues that threaten our society. But also in books and podcasts, Wokeness is publicly denounced in books and podcasts. This means that anti-wakess is no longer a movement, the doors of defiant boys behind closed doors who suddenly learn that the world does not belong alone are lived. It is a attitude that is accepted by society as a whole that finds more and more fans and thus becomes a fire -threatening declaration of war on human rights. And it leaves the hard right bubble.
A new term for Wokeness?
It is totally okay that the term wokeness becomes a word. The same fate already suffered countless combat terms in history. And it is also fine that the Wokeness itself is deconstructed and criticized in some points in its radicalism. For this, democracy and freedom of expression are there. Incidentally, even within the bubble woken, it is not always agreed. But to destroy the basic idea of this movement? Big bullshit that will sooner or later fall on our feet. Because in this cultural struggle you forget the real meaning of Anglicism Woke, which is there: awake. We slept as a company often and long enough, there are also enough examples and evidence in history. The Wokeness movement is not about denying people their rights. First and foremost, she simply wants to repair and protect the rights of those who have been suppressed for thousands of years anyway. In short: the same rights for everyone guarantee. What is so reprehensible about that?
New wave, new opportunities
With the anti-woke wave, which is slowly overwhelming Germany, we also have opportunities for us as a society. For example, the chance to prove that we have learned from our mistakes and our history. Or the chance to prove that we are willing to change something. And last but not least, the chance to prove that we are still wide awake. Because now it's just not the right time to sleep.
