Valentina Sampaio and Victoria's Secret: The trans* model is the first again
In 2019, Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio was the first trans* woman to appear in a campaign bymodeled. Now, five years later, they are andAlex Consanithe first two trans* models to walk the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
On October 15, 2024 the time had come and the first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in six years took place in New York. Valentina Sampaio wore a huge black and copper striped bow on her back instead of angel wings. Her look was more minimalistic with a black satin bra, matching black underwear and a nude mesh midi skirt that featured rhinestones. She also wore pearl-embellished pumps that wrapped around her ankles like snakes.
