For the eighth time, Pomellato is drawing attention to the continued problem of domestic violence by means of a video and thus wants to demand social responsibility. The known faces jointly call up not to ignore as watch -up allied domestic violence, but to actively oppose it if there is a presumption in the direction. Because the sad record is still: in all cultures in the world- also in Germany -Around one of three women has already experienced some form of violence that was usually exercised by a male partner or family member. According to this principle, the jewelry house goes even further: In addition to the formation of consciousness, Pomellato continues to support organizations such as Cadmi (Casa di Acclienza delle Donne Maltrattate), the first anti-violent center for women in Milan. Together with the London artist Karimah, a limited silk scarf was created, which is supposed to celebrate female resistance, creativity and solidarity with its imprint. The design comes from a painting by the multidisciplinary artist. The colorful cloth made of pure organic silk is not just a fashionable statement, but at the same time a sign of solidarity. The entire proceeds flow into the Second Chance Education programs by UN Women in India. The project enables women who are disadvantaged by poverty or social norms to access education and new professional opportunities.

The cooperation promotes educational and empowerment programs for children and adolescents worldwide. The focus is on the support of girls and young women with access to education for an opportunity for personal development and better future prospects. In cooperation with the NGO Anaka, which is committed to emancipation of Madagassian women, school education and environmental protection, the label will bring out a sustainably produced collection for the third time this year. These are two super stylish accessories - a bucket head and a version of the “Le Pliage Bag” consisting of Raffia, a natural material from Madagascar. As part of the partnership, around 40 women were able to work in the Anaka workshop and 66 children access to education in 2024.

For this year's World Women's Day, BA & SH also calls a new initiative to no longer close the eyes against domestic violence against women. Even if the topic seems to be invisible to some, millions of women and girls are affected all over the world. Together with the organization 125 ET après, which supports and does information work, the French label launches a statement t-shirt with the inscription “Together” for international women's day. The imprint is supposed to remind you again that the problem of domestic violence can only be solved as a community. The entire proceeds flows into projects that help women free themselves from violent situations in the home environment. But the initiative of the fire founded by women and still led to this day goes beyond the symbolic gesture: In addition to financial support for offers of help such as a 24/7-whatsapp hotline or training for medical staff, BA & SH also sees itself as responsible. The Eyewear label VIU focuses on the topic of female independence as part of World Women's Day. Together with the Nepalese women's cooperative Beads for Life, VIU launches a limited edition of her glasses chains in the color “Empower Pink”. The chains are manufactured by hand in the workshops of Beads for Life by the local women. It is more than just a cool accessory, because work gives women the opportunity to build their own existence. Around 3000 glasses chains from the collaboration have been sold since 2023. The entire profit goes back to the organization in Kathmandu and flows directly into educational projects. Women and their families are supported with access to knowledge and economic security. This should give them the opportunity to build up sustainable and long -term independence. From March 8, 2025, the glasses chain can be bought in all VIU stores and online.
