You don't have to just rely on dahlias or accept that the flowers you want will exceed your wedding budget. If you rely on seasonal flowers, you save money and still have wonderfully beautiful flower arrangements at your celebration. The following are 20 flowers that bloom in autumn and are therefore perfect for a wedding from September to November:
Ballonblume
Depending on the variety, the balloon flower or Platycodon blooms until September and comes in different colors from pure white to pink to purple. So if you would like pink flowers at your autumn wedding, the balloon flower is the first candidate.

Berg-Aster
This beautiful purple flower blooms when all the other flowers are already hanging their heads. Asters are in full bloom until October and are one of the cut flowers that last a long time!

Flammenblume
The flame flower or phlox grows from June and is therefore not necessarily known as autumn flowers. However, there is a beautiful variety called “Herbstwaltzer” that still blooms in October and has pink to light red flowers.

Duftnessel
Depending on the variety, the scented nettle blooms from June to October in white, pink, blue or deep purple tones. It also smells wonderfully delicious like mint or aniseed.

Suneye
The cheerful yellow flower is considered a permanent bloomer as it blooms from July until the first frost. Some also know suneye under the name Heliopsis.

The beautiful fruit absolutely deserves its name! Bright, purple beads adorn the so-called love pearl bush, making the branches an absolute eye-catcher in your floral decoration. The beads shine purple in autumn and last on the bush until Christmas.

Autumn crocus
Autumn crocuses are often confused with crocuses, but they are actually poisonous plants. Admittedly: extremely beautiful poisonous plants. The pink to light purple flower blooms until October.

Goldenrods
Goldenrods grow in the garden into magnificent, yellow bushes that spread and spread quickly. What makes them particularly popular, however, is the late flowering period, which is usually between July and September, but often lasts into October.

Autumn anemone
The first anemones appear in May. The autumn anemone, on the other hand, blooms in late summer, even into October. The flowering period ends when it gets too cold. The color palette of the autumn anemone is otherwise very rich and goes from pure white to delicate lilac to deep red.

Monkshood
The deep purple monkshood is also a popular autumn flower and only develops its full blooms from September to October. This beautiful plant is also highly poisonous.

Dahlie
By far the most popular garden and autumn flower is probably the dahlia. The variety of colors is particularly large - white, yellow, pink, violet, red and everything in between is possible. The flowering period begins in July, but lasts until the first frost.

Pansies
Pansies are usually seen in spring, but if you sow them in August, they won't bloom until October or even November. Certain varieties even survive the first snow.

Silver bush
The silver bush, also known as blue rue, blooms from July to October and produces small, delicate flowers that are usually purple. The name silver bush comes from its silvery shoots and not from the flowers.

Sedum
Admittedly, they're not necessarily flowers, but sedums are still stylish - and currently very trendy. Who at- If you want to get involved in the trend, you have found exactly the right plant in Sedum to give your floral decoration that certain something. And for those who like it more classic, there are also types with flowers - from white to crimson.

Japanese toad lily
The Japanese toad lily doesn't necessarily have the prettiest name, but it does have extraordinary flowers that make it resemble an orchid. With a flowering period until October, it is also perfect for a fall wedding.

Schildblume
Shieldflower, snakehead, common grouse - the plant with the light pink to pink flowers is known by many names. It blooms until October and gives the autumn floral decoration a fresh touch with its pink tones.

Gerbera
Pink, white, yellow, violet - there is hardly a color that the gerbera does not come in. With its particularly long flowering period until October, it is a beautiful addition to any autumn flower decoration.

yarrow
Most people are probably more familiar with common yarrow as a medicinal plant. It blooms until mid-October and has delicate white to pink flowers. Contrary to what the name suggests, it has a pleasant scent.

Wachsblume
Chamelaucium or wax flower also has a flowering period until October and is anything but a run-of-the-mill look. It has thick, fleshy leaves and star-shaped flowers.

Sunflower
As its name suggests, the sunflower needs a lot of sun to thrive. But it then blooms until the first frost in October. There are not only the classic yellow sunflowers, some varieties even shine in shades of orange.
