For the fans of the great artists, it is the greatest to be able to experience their idol up close at a concert. It is hardly surprising that you can cost yourself a lot. However, how many fans really spend on concerts and fan articles surprises one or the other:

In first place of the artists, for whom the most money was sent via PayPal in 2024, is Adele!Overall, transactions were made in connection with the coveted concerts of the singerin the amount of 9,043,619 euroscarried out.
In second place in the highest sums sent via PayPal, the hard rock band AC/DC is 6,813,160 euros. Anyone who would have expected Taylor Swift on this place in the ranking will be disappointed. At least as far as the transactions for her concerts and Co. are concerned, she only managed to fourth place with 3,862,204 euros and thus joins in third place behind Coldplay, which secured third place with 4,238,014 euros.
The high total amount, which was issued in connection with the singers and bands, illustrates how important the common concert experience is for fans. At the same time, the numbers show that PayPal plays a major role when it comes to uncomplicated payment processing.
