If you're looking for a festive drink for the holidays, you've just found it: We'll show you how to mix a cranberry mimosa.

At least as important as the question of what to eat at Christmas is the question of the right drinks. It shouldn't necessarily be the classics, but rather something a little more festive. We recommend cranberry mimosas for several reasons.

The cocktails only need 5 minutes to prepare and then they are ready. Plus, you don't need a shaker or other bar accessories to mix. The shopping list is also limited. And then this color! A Christmas drink could hardly look more festive.

Cranberries are always popular during Advent anyway. They are usually known in the dried, sweet version. If you buy them fresh, they are significantly more acidic, but also prettier to look at. They make a great decoration in our cranberry mimosas. And now it starts!

You need these ingredients for 2 drinks:

  • 1 lime
  • some sugar
  • Cranberrys (frisch)
  • 100 ml Cranberry-Saft
  • 200 ml champagne or sparkling wine
  • 2 rosemary sprigs

And this is how it is prepared:

1. Quarter the lime and use a wedge to moisten the rims of two glasses. Then dip the glasses into the sugar so that it sticks to them.

2. Now fill the cranberries into the glasses and then pour in the juice and the champagne or sparkling wine. Decorate with the rosemary sprigs. That's it!

A tip:If you can't get fresh cranberries in the supermarket or organic market, you can use the dried version for the cranberry mimosas instead. And if you want it to be completely alcohol-free, use either sparkling water, ginger ale or another lemonade instead of sparkling wine. You'll find even more non-alcoholic drinks right afterwards.
