Ravioli instead of lasagna sheets: This quick spinach and ricotta lasagna is simple, tasty and sure to be a success.
Casseroles are always a good idea, especially after a long, stressful day: They're quick to prepare, everything goes into a casserole dish and the oven does the rest of the work.
That's exactly why I love the so-called "“also so much. For this variation on the Italian classic, ravioli is used instead of lasagna sheets. This makes it an oven hit for the whole familystillfaster.
But it's not just the classic lasagna that can be modified in this way, it also works great as a vegetarian version with spinach and ricotta. The recipe is here.
Quick ravioli casserole with spinach
Ingredients for approx. 4 people:
- 500 g ravioli with spinach filling, from the refrigerated section
- 350 g frozen leaf spinach
- 250 g Ricotta
- 200g Stage
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 EL Kill
- 1 THE BUTTER
- 150 g grated cheese, e.g. B. Mozzarella
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- 1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
Preparation:
1. Peel the onion and garlic and dice finely. Heat oil in a pan and fry both in it. Then add the frozen spinach, let it thaw and cover and steam for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Reading tips:
2. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan. Grease a baking dish with a little butter.
3. Mix the ricotta and cream together, then season with salt, pepper and Italian herbs.
4. Now alternately layer the ravioli, spinach and ricotta sauce in the baking dish. Optionally distribute pine nuts in between. Finish with the ricotta and cream mixture.
5. Mix the cheese and breadcrumbs and sprinkle the “lasagna” with them. Bake the whole thing in the oven for about 20-25 minutes.
