Recipe for creamy baked chicken fricassee
Baking rice in a baking dish is unusual, but tastes really delicious. So the rice can take up all the aromas wonderfully.
Ingredients for 3 to 4 portions:
- 300 g Reis
- 500 g chicken fillet
- 600 g Mushrooms
- Optionally further vegetables such as peas, carrot or asparagus
- 700 ml Sahne
- 700 ml of chicken broth
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- 1 TL mustard
- 1 shot lemon juice
- 1 TL Muscat
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 big pinch of pepper
- 1 handful of parsley (chopped)
This is how the preparation succeeds:
1. First the oven on180 degrees (circulating air)Preheat. Then grease a baking dish and add the rice. Pat, clean the chicken, cut them into rough pieces and season vigorously with salt and pepper. Clean and quarter the mushrooms. Prepare further vegetables.
2. Mix the cream with chicken broth and then season really strongly. Add finely chopped garlic, mustard and lemon juice and stir. Optionally also refine with herbs such as parsley or chives, but also pick up a few chopped herbs to sprinkle later. Then pour into the baking dish over the rice.
3. First distribute the mushrooms in the mold and everything for about10 minutesBake in the oven. Then take out of the oven and also spread the chicken pieces or other vegetables on the surface.
4. Everything for more25 minutesBake in the oven until rice and chicken are cooked. Then let it cool briefly and enjoy. Enjoy yourself.
