Pancakes are super tasty, but you have to stand at the stove for a long time to prepare them. With the oven pancakes, making a fluffy breakfast is much easier.
Sometimes you don't need complicated dishes to make everyone at the table happy. Pancakes, for example, are true classics because they can be enjoyed both sweet and savory.
But what if you could save yourself the work of turning the pan and just insteada huge pancakeconjure up in the oven? This is exactly the food trend that is currently making the rounds on TikTok and Co.: Pancakes.
Basic recipe for pancakes from the baking tray
Ingredients for 1 baking tray, approx. 4 servings:
- 4 Owner
- 1 pinch of salt
- 500 ml milk
- 250 g Flour
- some butter for greasing
- Optional for a sweet version: 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Preparation:
1. Whisk together milk and eggs. Then add flour, salt and sugar (if you are making a sweet version) and mix with a whisk or mixer to form a smooth dough. Important: It should be free of lumps! If you decide to make sweet pancakes, you can also mix in some vanilla sugar. For the savory version, simply leave out the sugar and vanilla sugar.
2. Line a deep baking tray or a large baking dish with baking paper and grease it with butter. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat.
3. Pour the liquid batter evenly onto the prepared tray and let the pancake bake for about 20 minutes until it is golden brown.
Tipp:Top the still liquid dough with fresh fruit or chocolate chips. For a savory version, sprinkle some grated cheese over the pancake before it goes into the oven.
4. Then let the pancake cool briefly before cutting it into pieces and serving. Bon appetit!
