In the video you will also find out more about raclette cheese
Is there still much left of the raclette evening? Then use the leftovers to make this delicious raclette casserole with potatoes and ham.
When we have raclette again on festive occasions, we tend to buy far too many ingredients for the pans. And not only that: we also buy and serve far too many of the individual ingredients. This often means that you look at all the leftovers the next day and feel guilty.
But it doesn't have to be that way! With our raclette casserole with potatoes and ham, leftover ingredients get another chance to combine into a delicious dish. Simply heavenly!

This casserole brings together ingredients that also go perfectly together in a raclette pan: potatoes, spicy ham and aromatic cheese. There is also a creamy sauce that gives the whole thing the perfect finishing touch.
And you need these ingredients:
For 4 servings:
- About 6 potatoes, pre-cooked
- 400 ml whole milk
- 2 eggs, size M
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Salt, pepper
- Nutmeg, grated
- 1 onion, preferably leftover raclette
- 150 g cooked ham, preferably leftover raclette
- 150 g raclette cheese
And this is how it is prepared:
1. In the first step, preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat (160 °C fan oven). Now, if you haven't already done so for the raclette, cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and place them in a lightly greased baking dish.
2. Pour the whole milk into a measuring cup and beat in the two eggs. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press to the milk, as well as salt, pepper and grated nutmeg. Beat everything with a whisk.
3. Chop up the onions and ham if you haven't already done this during the raclette evening. Spread both over the potatoes. Now pour the egg milk over the ingredients and put the casserole in the oven. Let it bake for 30 minutes, then spread the cheese over the casserole. Let it bake for another 15 minutes and that's it!

Tipp:Do you still have leftovers from the raclette evening? Many of them also fit into this casserole, such as mushrooms, peppers, pearl onions or even corn. If you still have raw meat left over that should actually end up on the hot stone, you can cut it into small pieces, fry it briefly in a pan and then add it to the casserole. Have fun!
