Hearty, spicy and warming: A good stew has to taste. We have the ultimate recipe for a shish slip pot that tastes like Grandma.
For shish locks on the grill, it is a little too cold outside. The meat also tastes really tasty in a stew. Paprika and onions are not impaled, but fried together with the pork chill and bacon cubes. We conjure up a wonderful soup from fruity tomatoes, broth and spices in which everything can braise for an hour or two.
The Schaschliktopf is perfect to get many mouths full and thus a real party classic. But even as family meals, the soul warmer is doing really well.
Delicious shish slack pot with peppers and tomatoes
Do you have a few potatoes left or mushrooms in the fridge that have to go? Then she also processes in the Schaschlikt pot. By the way: The delicious dish tastes almost even better. So you can prepare the stew well a day in advance.
Ingredients for 6 portions:
- 1 kg of pig racks
- 3 peppers
- 2 large onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 g Speckwürfel
- 800 g of full tomatoes
- 500 ml of vegetable or meat broth
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of paprika powder, noble sweet
- 1 TL Middle Sharfer mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 El CurryPulver
- 1 The Honig
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- oil
- Salt and pepper
And this is how it works:
1. Cut the meat into bite -sized pieces. Wash the peppers, remove the core and dice the rest. Peel onions and also dice. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
2. In a large roaster (Like this from Amazon*) First fry the bacon cubes crispy without adding fat. Add the onion and roast golden yellow, then remove both. If necessary, put some oil in the roaster, fry the pork well from all sides and season with salt and pepper.
3. Then put onions and bacon back in the roaster. Add the peppers and garlic and briefly roast. Fold in the tomato paste, curry, paprika powder and thyme.
4. Then deglaze with broth and spacious tomatoes and bring the stew to the boil. Season everything with mustard, honey and vinegar. Then simmer for about 1.5-2 hours on a low heat. Stir in between and add water if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
