Beautiful with Snukieful: tutorial for a festive makeup
#1 More glow with the right foundation
On the festive days, our complexion should shine like the Christmas tree. This works best with a high definition foundation that is light-reflecting. Foundation with an extra portion of shine particles also makes the complexion shine. They scatter the incident light in all directions and therefore act like a soft focus.

A popular foundation that provides a great glow and a fresh appearance is the Luminous Silk Foundation from Armani (can be purchased here at Douglas*).
#2 Now glitter is allowed!
Christmas and New Year's Eve offer the perfect opportunity to spice up your makeup look with a little glitter and shimmer.
This trick is particularly easy for eye make-up. To do this, prime the eyelids with a light color and then apply an eyeshadow with glitter particles to the movable eyelids. To keep your look elegant and not overloaded, you should only focus on the eyes and hold back when it comes to colors in the rest of your make-up. Instead, combine your shimmering eyelids with subtle shades, such as a nude or soft pink lipstick.
If you like something a little more subtle: an eyeliner with a metallic look! For example, there is Nyx Professional Makeup (here beautiful bottles*).
By the way, they are also great eye make-up for Christmas etcSmokey Eyes.
>> We'll tell you here step by step how you can recreate the look.
#3 Eye-catching lips in rich red
Don't want to spend a lot of time in front of the bathroom mirror? Then this trick is just right for you: whether dramatic red, seductive berry tone or dark shades - with lipstick you can give your make-up look an instant upgrade.
Extra tip:There is always a lot of eating (and drinking) on the holidays! After the Christmas roast at the latest, the great color on the lips will have disappeared again. If you want to be on the safe side, you should choose liquid lipsticks because they last extremely long. Our favorite is the Infaillibile Les Chocolates Lipsticks from L'Oréal Paris (is available here at Flaconi, for example*).
#4 Dramatic moment: eyeliner on fleek
Small line, big effect: a perfect eyeliner gives your eyes a dramatic and glamorous expression.
If you want to try something new for the festive days, you can emphasize your eyes with a golden eyeliner. Definitely a great eye-catcher at any celebration! If you don't want to do without both the black eyeliner and the gold elements, you can accentuate the lower eyelid with a gold eyeshadow.
#5 Elegant nails for the holidays
Whether it's gold, silver or a rich red that suits every skin and color type: a striking nail polish color can also instantly make your look appear more glamorous. The following applies: the more subtle your make-up and outfit are, the more unusual the color choice of your nails can be.
You don't really know which outfits you can wear your eye-catching nail polish with? Then just try combining the nail polish in exactly the same way as eye-catching statement jewelry. For example, your favorite jeans and white blouse always work. You can also spice up subtle basics, like a black turtleneck sweater or a blazer, with extravagant nails.
