The Madam Tussauds Museum in London has long been known for its wax figures of celebrities: actors, singers, athletes, politicians and even members of the royal family already have a wax figure. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry caused a sensation last year, and now the wax figure of US singer Ariana Grande should also be exhibited. She was recently featured on Instagram and unfortunately failed to impress fans. Many of them commented on this and commented under the post that the wax figure's face is not similar to the pop icon's face. Some claim that they cannot recognize their role model. The fans have actually been waiting for this for a long time, the time should finally come in mid-May and the new figure should be exhibited. The museum had already asked the audience in April to choose between three variants of outfits. In the first photo, the Grammy winner was in her popular look (Oversized Pulloverand high boots), in the second photo she was wearing a shoulder- and crop-free blouse and white trousers with a high waist, in the third photo she was wearing a white dress with polka dot patterns. The fans had decided on the first outfit and couldn't wait to see the finished wax figure. But then the disappointment: the outfit, hairstyle and make-up are correct, but the face itself is unfortunately not. Many suggested melting the character and starting from the beginning.
Even if the figure doesn't completely match the fans' expectations, Ariana Grande is in good company: Other wax figure museums were also wrong with their interpretations.
