An invitation in the form of a mini sugar cone

The sugar bag is finetheSymbol for school enrollment in general. After all, it is a gift that should not be missed. Use white or colored cardboard as desired, either print it directly or print the template on white paper, cut out the school cone and use it as a stencil to transfer it onto the cardboard (but then you have to completely label yourself). Either way, cut out the shape - ideally within the dotted line. Now label them with the necessary information.

If you want you can use the white templatefor the sugar conealso design your own. Let the child paint patterns and motifs or even glue decorations such as rhinestones, net or lace, foam rubber, string or whatever else comes to mind. Stickers, mini pencils or books are also suitable. Also, come up with a text that is funny or interesting for the invitation to school.

3D invitation card for school enrollment in pencil shape

Isn't this a really cool idea for a school enrollment invitation card? If the classic rectangular shape is too boring for you, the pencil motif is the perfect alternative! How to DIY this simple idea:

  • white paper
  • yellow, red and gray/black craft cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • removable adhesive dot

Print the template on white paper, cut out the shapes and trace them onto the respective cardstock colors. Cut out the elements. Fold the pencil shape with the strip in the middle along the lines (or use the other template and fold it in the middle once), then stick the eraser, lead, etc. onto the respective areas. You can now design the top with lines as shown below or use it for labeling.

Another variation is to write down the information inside the pencil. Write directly on the yellow cardboard or stick on a different colored surface and write on it. Leave the tip of the pencil blank and stick a dot of glue there so that you can close the invitation card for school enrollment. It is important that the adhesive dots do not stick too tightly so that the card can be opened again without any problems.

School enrollment invitation card – cool colored pencils made from paper strips

Alternatively, you can also choose this idea, which is the classic version of a fold-out greeting card. The craft idea is very easy and a perfect project that can be carried out together with the child. This is how this invitation card for school enrollment is made:

  • white, skin-colored or beige craft cardboard
  • Craft cardboard in any color for the stripes and the lead
  • white paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Take the craft cardboard and fold it in half. Place the card in front of you with the open side on the right and cut the top two corners at an angle to create a point. Now it's time to design. You need four strips of any color that line up with the card at the bottom and extend to the points at the top where the card begins to taper. On this side, the stripes do not end straight, but rather rounded downwards, as is the case with sharpened colored pencils.

Then use the tip of your colored pencil as a template to trace and cut out triangles for the tip (lead). The long sides of the triangles are wavy. Glue all the elements onto the invitation. Now you can stick on a regular strip of paper on which you write (or print) the word “invitation” or, as in the example, you can make it a little more interesting by rolling up the sides of the strip (just wrap it around a pen).
