Make garden decorations with children – recycle bottle caps for flower plugs

Since our first idea can produce pointed and sharp metal edges, it is more suitable for older children as they can work more carefully. So it's better for small children to try their hand at another project. Painting will be a lot of fun for the little ones, while cutting can also be done by an adult depending on the age of the children. Would you like thesePlug as a garden decorationIf you're doing crafts with children, you'll need these things and proceed as follows:

  • Bottle caps
  • Pliers for cutting metal (e.g. side cutters)
  • Kneifzange
  • Spray or other paints (suitable for outdoor use)
  • sturdy wire
  • strong glue

Cleanthe bottle capswell with soapy water and let them dry. Then use pliers to cut the edge several times - always where there is a fold or every two folds. You can then use a pair of pliers to bend the resulting petals in any direction. Each bottle cap can then be sprayed or painted as desired.

Once the paint has dried thoroughly, cut pieces of any length from the wire and glue them to the back (both sides of the bottle cap can be used as the front - the choice is yours). Once the glue has dried, the plugs can be inserted into the bed or into a flower pot.

You can also make a flower with children from a cut and an intact crown cap as a garden decoration. To do this, simply paint them as desired and simply glue the intact bottle cap onto the other one, as shown in the picture above.
