Make autumn leaf hedgehogs with children

Craft materials for autumn leaf hedgehogs:

Autumn leaf hedgehog print template below
White photo cardboard
Colored photo cardboard
Colored pencils
Leaves (cut off stems)
Glue stick
White glue or craft glue
Scissors
Glotzauge
Small pompom

Directions:

  • Download the Autumn Leaf Hedgehog template above and print it on white cardstock.
  • Grindthe hedgehogbrown (or the color your child chooses). Then cut it out and glue the template to a piece of colorful cardboard using a glue stick.
  • Apply white glue to the entire hedgehog template except the face.
  • Place the leaves on the glue until all of the glue is covered. You may need to apply a little more glue to keep the leaves in place.
  • Glue on the goggle eye and the pompom as a nose.

A gluing project for daycare children and first graders

Materials required:

white paper
felt-tip pens
a handful of leaves from outside
Glue

Directions:

  • Tape the white paper to your tabletop. You can also use kraft paper or the back of a paper bag.
  • Draw a simple tree.
  • Right now is a good time towith our childrento practice gluing. Gluing is a fine motor activity that improves hand strength. We want to spend a lot of time strengthening hands so children are able to form letters, tie shoes, and button clothes. Let's start gluing the autumn leaves!
  • After the kids have glued on their fall leaves, let the leaf craft dry and then put it up!

Fall paper crafts: paper plate apple

Accesories:

paper plate
Color (in red or green)
Paint brush
Colored cardboard or craft paper (in green and brown)
Scissors
Pencil
Glue stick
Black marker (optional)
Apple template below

Directions:

  • Download the apple template, print it and cut out the pieces.
  • Paint the paper plate with a thin layer of red or green paint.Leave the colordry completely before continuing.
  • Place the apple template on the dry paper plate, trace it and cut out the apple shape.
  • Place the apple stem on top of the paper plate and tape it in place. Glue the leaf right next to the stem. Using a black marker, draw a curved line that represents the depression in the center of the apple.
  • Glue the eyes directly under the leaf in the center of the plate.
  • Place the tongue in the middle of the mouth and tape it in place. Cut off the excess paper with scissors.
  • Glue the finished mouth under the eyes.

Make pumpkin stamps from apple

Materials required:

Apples
Orange craft paint
Green craft paint
Paint brush
cutting board
Messer
White paper

Directions:

  • First cut the apples in half and dry them inside and out with kitchen paper.
  • Using the inside of the apple as a stamp, dip the inside of the apple in orange paint, making sure it is completely covered in paint. Then stamp on the white paper.
  • Using a brush, paint a leaf and stem on the topthe pumpkins.
  • Let your beautiful pumpkins dry and display them proudly.
  • Alternatively, after the pumpkins have dried, you can use black markers or crayons to paint Jack-o-Lanterns for Halloween!

Make cute paper pumpkins for fall

Necessary materials:

Colored or patterned paper of your choice
paper cutter
Double-sided tape
Hot glue and glue gun
rod
Bindfad
Scissors

Directions:

  • Cut each piece of paper vertically into five 4cm wide strips.
  • Then cut each strip into one 18cm, two 23cm and the remaining two into 28cm. Important! Remember that you have two sentences fora pumpkinneed. Each pumpkin consists of two 18 cm, four 23 cm and four 28 cm strips.
  • Fold each piece into accordion strips.
  • Now stick the TWO SETS together at the same length with double-sided tape, forming a circle.
  • In the end you will get one circle from the 18cm strips, two circles from the 23cm strips and two circles from the 28cm strips.
  • The 18 cm medallion is glued on with a hot glue gun. Just put a small dollop in the middle and hold for a few seconds until dry.
  • Next, glue the individual medallions together, starting with the 18cm medallion at the top, then the 23cm medallion, then the 28cm medallion, then the 23cm medallion, then the 18cm medallion at the bottom.
  • Glue a stick, paper leaves, and string to the top of the pumpkin.
