Autumn leaves made from toilet rolls for trailers

You can create colorful leaves from cardboard rings, which you can then use in the form of pendants for the wallUse window designor let it hang from the lamp. This is how the jewelry is made:

  • The claw role
  • Acrylic paints (or spray paints, but work with them outside)
  • Glue, scissors
  • String for hanging

It's so easy to turn empty toilet paper rolls into something beautiful:

  • If there are any remaining pieces of paper on the rolls, remove them. You can scrape them off with a knife, scraper or scissors.
  • Then paint the rolls. You can also do this step after cutting, but it's a little more complicated. Decide for yourself. You can also try both variants first.
  • Use colors that suit fall.
  • Once the paint has dried, cut the rolls into rings about 1 inch wide. You need five and a half rings per leaf (half the ring is for the leaf stem). You then have to recolor the interfaces again, which can be done quickly and easily with a brush.
  • Press the rings together so that you get oval shapes and put them together like leaves and then glue them together.
  • Take one of the remaining rings and cut them in half. Glue the ends together to create an oval shape again, but smaller this time.
  • Glue the stem in place.
  • Tie twine to the leaves. The whole thing looks particularly effective if you use transparent yarn or particularly thin cord that is hardly noticeable. Then it seems as if the leaves are actually floating or just falling from the tree.

Cool idea:You can also glue a sheet to paper and frame it, like in the last picture. The 3D image would be safea cool gift idea.

By the way, you can also make snowflakes/stars out of toilet paper rolls using these oval shapes. How exactly, find out here.

  • Toilet paper rolls

  • Yarn
  • Paper, linen or other materials for the sheets

This is how it's done:

  • Cut the rolls into rings of any width.
  • Coat the rings in the glue (or dip them after adding glue to a bowl) and then dip them in the glitter.
  • Let the rings dry on newspaper.
