- If you don't want a colored suncatcher, you can stick the cut snowflake directly on and add glitter. Seal with another piece of the adhesive paper.
- If you used colored paper, now glue the snowflake motif onto it with a glue stick.
- Cut off any excess contact paper around the round paper.
- Punch holes in the finished picture and tie string for hanging or stick directly to the window panes with tape for beautiful, winter window pictures.
Mosaic snowflakes with scraps of paper
A popular winter surprise idea is to make snowflakes with children. Even the very little ones can cut or at least glue, so the following craft idea is also suitable for themToddlers in kindergartenis perfect.
- Snowflake template
- colored craft paper (crepe paper, tissue paper or simple construction paper as desired)
- Scissors
- Glue
The craft idea is so easy and fun:
- Print and cut out the snowflakes (you can also leave them in A4 format).
- Cut the colored paper into small squares or any other shapes. It can also be torn small.
- Glue the paper onto the snowflake, creating any pattern and color combination.
If you stick the flakes on both sides, you can also use the snowflakes to make a pretty window decoration with the children in January. Then simply punch holes in the motif and tie string. Let them hang freely so that they can rotate nicely when a breeze comes along.
Tipp:You could also use the templates as stencils to transfer the snowflakes onto tracing paper and then cover them with tissue paper. This makes the pendants slightly transparent and the light can shine through them.
Of course, you can also choose other motifs to make such winter pictures with children. The shape of a snowman or a sleigh, for example, are also great.

- Press a piece of modeling clay into the lid and then the stone. If you now place the lid on its edge and push it to the side, it should swing back again due to the weight.
- Create the snowman by making a black hat, the orange carrot nose (triangle) and, if you wish, a scarf. You can also simply use felt-tip pens for some of these elements.
- Glue the elements in place and draw the mouth, eyes, cheeks and buttons.
- Glue the lid to the back of the snowman (the sealed side). Complete!
