An original prom dress and outfit made from duct tape

Many young people are starting to think more practically and don't want to donate so much for graduation clothes and outfits. Some wear just a T-shirt to the ball and give the money saved from thrifted clothing to charity. Others are creative and sew their own costume, with which they look original and chic. But there are also teenagers who transform eco or household materials into a work of art - and namely their ideas and style come into the spotlight at the ball.

Thetapeis a material that is probably the least attractive and fashionable. But this couple has a completely different opinion. Ryan Danko and Gabrielle Farina are two high school students in Michigan who will be attending prom together. They spent 59 hours and used 12 rolls of tape to create this original prom dress and outfit. This will make you look like they came straight from the 1920s.

Who came up with the idea of this?

The two are finalists in the Stuck in Prom, a competition organized by Duct Tape that motivates students to create a fashionable and eye-catching prom dress and outfit for thepromby using nothing more than their colorful tape products. The first place winners will each win $10,000 in scholarships and $5,000 for their school. There are also smaller prizes for second and third place, as well as the winners of a certain category.
