Do you love wind chimes? Every time you hear the quiet, clinking noise, you think of a relaxing day at the beach. Not only do they look great, they sound wonderful too! They can be made with so many things - the possibilities are endless and you can use your imagination to create beautiful designs using different materials. Make wind chimes with natural materials
What you need:
air dryer Ton
rolling pin
Scissors
Paint brush
Plant remains such as pine
Acrylic paint
Old cotton cloth
Jute twine or cotton rope
straw
Branch or driftwood
- Place a ball of clay on a work surface or table and use a rolling pin to roll it to the desired thickness.
- Select leaves or botanical feathers and press them onto the clay. Make sure they make a good indentation in the clay.
- Carefully remove the leaf from the clay and cut it out with scissors.
- Repeat this process until you have the desired number of pieces.
- Poke a hole in the top of each mold with a straw and allow to dry completely overnight.
- Once the clay is completely dry, use a brush to paint on a light coat of the desired color, making sure it fills the grooves of the print.
- Continue this process until all of your pieces are finished and let them dry for 30 minutes.
- Take a piece of doubled twine or cotton rope and tie a knot at each end of the branch.
- Tie some twine through the hole in the clay piece and tie it around the branch. Repeat the process with all pieces.

- Measure and cut 8 x 300cm pieces of yarn. Cut a 150 cm piece and 1 x 80 cm piece.
- Place the eight long pieces in a row, find the middle, and fold them so you have 16 pieces of yarn to knot.
- Attach the ribbon a few inches from the top to form a loop. Set the two remaining pieces of yarn aside.
- Begin covering the loop with lark's head knots. Start at the top and work down one side, then repeat on the other side.
- Make a wrap knot with the two remaining pieces of yarn to secure the loop. Cut off the excess yarn.
- Divide the yarn into four groups of four and start knotting.
- Add the large rings to pull the strands apart with a square knot.
- When you're finished tying, tie the strands in a knot and cut off the excess.
- Attach the chimes to the split rings and put them on the macrame ring.

Make colorful garden decorations with children
Materials required:
Contact paper
Scissors
Marker or pen
Rings from mason jar lids
String (yarn also works)
A sturdy stick

- Cut out a small piece of contact paper and trace the rings of the mason jars onto the side of the contact paper.
- Then peel off the protective film from the contact paper and tap it onto the surface, sticky side up.
- You can make this wind chime with children. Give the children the leaves and flowers they found and have them fill in these circles.
- If the flower is closed or bell-shaped, you can cut it open to fan it out.
- Complete the suncatchers with another piece of contact paper.
- Press them as flat as possible and stick the contact paper anywhere you can.
- Then cut them out, along the circles.
- Tie a knot around the rings with the string and simply slide the sun catcher circles inside.
- Then tie the strings to a stick to make a wind chime that you can hang on your balcony or in the garden.
Colorful garden decoration with metal discs
Materials required:

Metal washers

- Paint the metal washers with spray paint and then spray them with a clear coat.
- Drill holes in a piece of wood and tie the metal discs and beads together with strong string. Make as many rows as you want.

Make wind chimes with shells
Materials required:
Various mussels

White spray paint
Metal wreath forms

- Paint the metal wreath form to match the shells. Let them dry.
- Make sure you have drilled holes in all the shells.
- Cut a piece of heavy-duty fishing line and string the beads on it.
- When hanging the shells on the string, you need to feed the string back through the hole by wrapping the string around itself twice and then tightening it. Repeat this process to keep the shell in place.
- Make sure the last shell or bead has the locking surgeon's knot. Then cut the ends of the fishing line.
- Add chimes around the wreath form.
