Porcelain stoneware tiles and wood in modern, cozy apartment

The gray porcelain stoneware tiles are mostly used in modern homes as floor coverings for hallways and kitchens, as they are very durable and practical to maintain, making them ideal for heavily used rooms. However, floor coverings of this type appear mediocre and not really attractive. A designer from Ukraine recently designed a modern family apartment and installed the models particularly cleverly and successfully on the floor using high-quality wooden floorboards.

The highlights of this modern apartment in Kiev begin as soon as you enter the front door. You can immediately recognize your individual style. Attractive pendant lights, home accessories and small furniture made from solid wood and an impressive partition wall. This consists of wooden slats with a natural look, some of which are mounted next to each other so that they do not leak. This is where the living room begins, which is separated into two by the slatted wall.

The common rooms are located on the first floor - the living room on one side and the kitchen with dining area on the other. Up the stairs you reach the private bedrooms - bedroom and children's room with attached bathrooms.

In every room, in every area, the same style line can be traced, which begins with the porcelain stoneware tiles. Gray and wood in sophisticated, effective variations create a uniform, harmonious and natural-looking atmosphere. Chic accents are set by modern designer lights that give the room design a distinctive touch.
