Each ghost consists of a pretzel, three black sugar confetti and white chocolate. For about 18 ghosts you will need a cup of melted chocolate for dipping and half a cup in a piping bag. First dip the pretzel into the melted chocolate with a fork and place it on a tray lined with baking paper.

Pretzel Owl Instructions
First, dip the pretzels into the melted chocolate with a fork and place them on a baking sheet or tray lined with baking paper. Put it in the fridge for about 5 minutes. Fill the top two holes of the pretzel with the piping bag filled with chocolate. Also make ears and nose as shown in the picture above. Glue the sugar eyes and the sunflower seed beaks and put them back in the fridge to dry.
Halloween screams
You can also make these “scared” pretzels the same way! But for that you need bigger sugar eyes, as if they were wide open in shock.
Halloween party food – mummy snacks
Like zombies, mummies are popular motifs for Halloween and are perfect for our Halloween party food. Each mummy is made from a pretzel, two candy eyes and melted white chocolate. Place the pretzel on a tray lined with baking paper. Pour half a cup of melted chocolate into a disposable piping bag.
How to pour the glaze
Move the piping bag horizontally left and right over the pretzel to represent the mummies' gauze bandages. While the chocolate is still melted, stick the sugar eyes on and place the tray in the fridge for about 5 minutes.
Mini pumpkins
Autumn is the time of pumpkins. People like to make pumpkin vases, jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin soups and why not mini pumpkins out of pretzels? Perfect idea for the impatient because the whole thing takes less than 10 minutes.
Small pumpkin made from pretzels
Each pumpkin is made from a pretzel, green M&M candy, and orange-colored icing. For the glaze, it is best not to mix white chocolate with food coloring, but rather buy ready-made orange cake melts. These can be melted in the microwave or over a water bath.
Dip the pretzel into the melted chocolate with a fork, let the excess chocolate run off briefly and place the pretzel on baking paper. While the chocolate is still melted, stick the green M&M stick and place the tray in the fridge for about 5 minutes.
Chocolate sprinkles in Halloween colors
For those who don't have the time or patience to lavishly garnish the Halloween party food, we recommend the pretzels covered with sugar sprinkles. Each pretzel is dipped in melted white or brown chocolate and then sprinkled with sugar sprinkles. Use sugar sprinkles in Halloween colors like yellow and orange. These also come into their own particularly well when white chocolate is used.
Skeleton cupcakes for kids
These skeletons with rattling bones are not scary at all and would make any child smile. These can be attached to cupcakes or brownies with a cake pop stick and stand upright. Dip the pretzels in melted white chocolate and let them set on baking paper. Thread 3-5 chocolate pretzels onto a cake pop stick and stick them into the brownie. Paint marshmallows with faces, put them on the stick and you're done!
Make your own donut spiders
The mini donut spiders with their pretzel legs are a brilliant idea for Halloween party food for children! Not only are they very tasty, but they are also perfect for decorating the Halloween table. You need mini donuts, pretzels, Smarties and melted chocolate in piping bags.
Instructions for the donut spiders
The donut spiders are super easy to put together and are also suitable for small children. First, cut the pretzels in two with a knife so that curved semicircles remain. Then stick these into the mini donuts – four on each side. Last but not least, stick the Smarties with some melted chocolate onto the donut as colorful eyes.
Make spider web with icing
Along with bats and owls, spiders and spider webs are a popular Halloween motif and are easy to depict due to their simple shape. To paint a spider web, you first need to make a cross, then draw diagonal lines through the center, and then connect the lines with inward arcs from them outward.
Salt stick spider web
If you want to draw a mini spider web on a pretzel, sugar writing is the best way to do it. You can use it to make fine lines and even put writing on cookies. But if you want to make larger spider webs, you can also use piping bags. If you don't have one, you can also take a freezer bag and cut off a very small corner at the bottom.
Decorate with artificial spiders
Arrange eight pretzel sticks on baking paper in a star shape. Using white or brown chocolate coating and a piping bag, draw the spider webs or simply paint a spiral from the inside out. Let it harden completely in the fridge and you're done!
Make your own ghost sticks
For these ghost sticks you need thick pretzel sticks, white and brown chocolate, baking paper and piping bags or sticks. First melt the couverture – in the microwave or over a water bath. Then dip the pretzel sticks into the melted white chocolate and place them on baking paper.
Stick ghosts upright in a container with salt or sugar
Paint the faces with a stick and the melted dark chocolate. Two points for eyes but preferably oval shape for mouth. Ready to nibble!
