How to put together a children's witch costume from old clothes
A witch costume for children can be put together quickly - you need an old black blouse, black leggings, trousers or jeans, optionally a black and purple tutu skirt, black ballerina shoes or black boots. You can also buy a long black dress from a thrift store (this will then be torn at the hem so the child can no longer wear it). You don't need to put any special effort into the costume itself - because the witch can be recognized primarily by her accessories. Simply cut off strips of the old blouse from the bottom hem, sleeves and neckline (preferably choose a longer blouse) and tear slightly to create a worn oneto create a look.
As I said, the witch costume itself is very simple and not particularly elaborate. Those Accessorieshowever, they take a little more time. The most famous of these is perhaps the witch's hat. For this you need the following materials:
The necessary materials
Black cardboard
For the Harry
Superglue
tape
Scissors
Marker
Stickers (butterflies, ladybugs, spiders – depending on your preferences)
Teller
And this is how the witch's hat is made: first draw two circles of the same size on the cardboard with the round plate and the marker. The first circle will later be formed into a cone, the second will later form the hat brim. Draw the radius on the first circle with a dotted line.
Then cut along the dotted line and form a cone. Carefully glue the ends together, leaving a seam approx. 1 cm below (see photo above).
Now cut out prongs about 0.5 cm long and about 2-3 cm wide on the edge and fold them up. Press firmly.
Now glue the cut-out and folded points in the middle of the second circle with superglue.
Press down carefully and wait for the superglue to dry.
Decorate the witch's hat with various stickers - butterflies and ladybugs look cute, for example, but you can also use scary spiders, bats, etc. choose. Use the stickers to conceal the unevenness and defects.
At the end, attach the finished witch hat to the headband using superglue and adhesive tape.
