Instructions for costume, mask and ears

This is how the sweet animal costume is put together:

For the homemade onecute costumeCat for girls you first need a long-sleeved shirt. This could be an old and unusable top. The colors white, black, gray, brown, orange or beige are preferred.

Combine the selected long-sleeved shirt with a piece of felt in a matching color, which will serve as fur for the cat's tummy.

Cut the felt out into an oval shape.

Use sewing thread and needle to sew the felt piece to the top.

To make the sleeves fit and imitate the fur on the cat's paws, use felting wool or a fluffy scarf. Attach the felting wool to the sleeve hem.

Cut two strips out of the material and sew them together.

Use an old and unusable sock to make the tail. Sew some felting wool to the tip.

Stuff the sock with pillow stuffing.

Next, sew the finished tail in the lower part to the back of the top.

Paint a stencil cat face mask and cut it out.

Draw the outline of the mask on white construction paper and cut out the cat's face.

Glue the template to the construction paper and reshape the edges if necessary.

Using a ballpoint pen, make two holes in the eyes and two on either side of the mask for the elastic.

Then cut out the eyes.

Add sparkly rhinestones around the eyes or anywhere else you like.

Thread the elastic band through the holes and tie it.

Draw oblong ears on the white construction paper and cut them out.

Cut off the bottom corners of the ears to make it easier to attach them to the headband later.

Now cut out small triangles from the pink felt and glue them onto the ears.

Then glue the ears to the headband by attaching the excess paper to the back of the ears.

Now tear a piece of pink fabric into strips for the skirt.

Finally, tie one end of the fabric strips to the elastic band.
