See our fun idea for colorful Easter eggs made from cereal and try it out!
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1 pack (10 ½) mini marshmallows
Different colors for food (optional)
6 cups crispy rice biscuits (like Rice Krispies)
Assorted M&Ms (preferably minis), frozen (optional)
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir the marshmallows in the butter and wait until they are completely melted. Remove the pot from the heat. If you wish, you can color this mixture. Depending on your desire, you could do this several times with different colors.
Stir the cereal into the marshmallow mixture. Generously coat your palms with kitchen spray. Make 15 to 20 oval “eggs” from the still warm mixture. Work quickly or the mixture will be hard. If you wish, you could roll the eggs in M&M's.
Then let them cool completely. Then wrap them in cellophane or store them in an airtight container.
