Did you feel like it? We'll show you a few simple instructions with which you can make pretty napkin rings for Easter.

Make napkin rings for Easter – cute Easter bunnies as an upcycling project

Simple wooden curtain rings are just perfect for turning into napkin holders. And the project is so simple that eventhe biggest beginners can do it. Look how cute these bunnies are! This is what you need to make these napkin rings for Easter:

  • Wooden curtain rings
  • white acrylic paint (or other if desired)
  • felt
  • Scissors
  • Paint brush
  • black Edding

If the curtain rings have hooks and clips, remove them. Paint the rings with acrylic paint and let them dry on a surface (e.g. newspaper). If you are using dark circles, you will need several coats of color to get opaque color. Allow each layer to dry thoroughly before applying the next.

In the meantime you can cut the felt. To do this, measure a length of about 24 cm and a width of 2.5 cm and cut out this strip. Round off both ends of the strip - like the tips of rabbit ears. Then wrap the strip around the well-dried ring by tying the so-called anchor stitch knot. The two protruding ends turn into ears. Now just draw the eyes and nose with the Sharpie and the first rabbit napkin ring is ready.

Fun beaded carrot napkin holders

Carrots are one of the most important Easter motifs, which is of course thanks to the Easter Bunny. Accordingly, they are ideal forDecorating the Easter table. So why not make these original napkin rings yourself for Easter? You only need a few materials, namely the following:

  • Wooden beads in three sizes (orange ones are best)
  • orange acrylic paint if you didn't find dyed beads, and brushes
  • Cord/yarn
  • Holzring
  • green crepe paper or other paper
  • liquid glue

If you haven't found any colored beads and rings, first paint them with acrylic paint. This works particularly well if you thread the beads onto kebab skewers. Multiple coats will be necessary to achieve opaque color. Allow the paint to dry. Tie a knot at one end of the string and then string the beads in order of size - from small to large - and tie a knot on the other side too. You can cut off any excess cord.

Then tie a small piece of string around the ring and then use it to attach it to the pearl necklace. Cut the crepe paper into thin strips and glue them to the side of the carrot with the large beads to create the carrot greens.

Make daisies as napkin rings for Easter

Of course not onlytypical Easter motifssuitable for the Easter table, but also everything that we associate with spring - including flowers. That's why these daisies are also a wonderful idea if you want to make your own napkin holders. Like the other two ideas, this one is simple enough to get creative with the little ones. So if you want to make napkin rings with children, you can also choose the following option.

  • Ripsband
  • green yarn
  • yellow buttons
  • Glue, scissors

Cut strips about 7.5 cm long and about 1 cm wide from the ribbon. You need 5 such strips per flower. Then place these on top of each other and glue them together at the intersections so that you get a flower shape. Then glue a yellow button to the front and a piece of green yarn to the back. You can then easily tie this yarn around the rolled Easter napkins.

With decorative wire

In craft supply shops you can find decorative wire suitable for all occasions. This also includes those with colorful buds or mini Easter eggs, for example. Take a look around and if you find something suitable, you can use it to make your own napkin rings. Here you can see two variants - in one you use mini wreaths that you then simply wrap around, in the other idea you form the rings yourselffrom the wire.

You can also add other decorations at the end. The finished rings look best on plain, light-colored fabric because the bright colors then stand out better. You can also use the wreath variant by using wooden rings instead of wreaths. So you can let your imagination run wild when you make napkin rings with wire for Easter.
