The guests feel really special when you put effort, hard work and attention into creating a good atmosphere. A great idea, which is also suitable for beginners in crafting, would be to make the straw decoration yourself.
It works particularly easily when small, individually manufactured flags are usedstraware fixed. It would be enough if just a 'Thank you!' is written on it. Alternatively, you can take nice, sturdier paper and cut out the flags from it. A pre-made stencil would make the job a lot easier and all the accents will end up looking the same.
A particularly imaginative idea is to use name tags instead. As with the last tip, make some flags that simply write the guest's name on them. If you don't know how to write beautifully, then it's better to use ready-made letters. In the craft store you are sure to find suitable ones that are also self-adhesive.
Cocktail umbrellas can be easily combined. Make a cocktail umbrella with the straw in the center. Fix using non-toxic glue or double-sided tape. The cocktail umbrella made in this way will also protect the drink from any leftovers and small things getting into the glass during the party.
Particularly imaginative for decoratingPaper straws are suitable. You will definitely find some in bright colors among the party goods in the store. Otherwise, you can easily make some yourself. Basically, strips of paper are rolled up and fixed with non-toxic glue. Watch the video and maybe try making paper straws yourself.
The puncher is undoubtedly one of the most useful craft accessories. Available in all possible sizes and imaginative shapes, it is used when several figures of the same size need to be precisely cut out. This means you can also successfully work with craft cardboard or colored paper and use the products imaginatively as decoration and for crafts.
Glitter and shimmer are always a good idea at a party. Then use them to decorate the straws and decorate the party drinks for a great atmosphere. You can attach the cut-out motifs to the straws in several ways. It should be mentioned that a non-toxic adhesive should always be used.
So that you get a beautiful figure on each side of the straw, you should either use paper that is colored on both sides or simply punch out or pre-plan twice as many decorative figures. For the second variant, you can use hot glue. When fixing the straw should remain between the two motifs.
If the paper or craft cardboard used does not have a back or front side, there are a few clever ways to attach the desired paper figure to the straw. One option would be to hole the figure, in our example a heart, twice. The resulting holes should be equal to one another. Now pull the straw through the two holes.
