For Valentine's Day, make elves with children from handprints

Surely the kids want their loved one toofor the day of lovemake a joy. Help them by making these cute elves out of handprints. They can also be used as cards and written on the back if you wish. You can find out how to make gnomes for Valentine's Day below:

  • white craft cardboard
  • Any patterned paper (also painted and designed by the children)
  • Glitter paper
  • pom poms
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • optional heart punch (you can also buy ready-made hearts or cut them out yourself)

So simple and yet so beautiful:

  • Trace the outline of the child's hand on the white cardboard and cut out the hand. Depending on the age of the children, they can also complete these steps themselves.
  • Then cut out a triangle from patterned paper. This will be the hat.
  • Stick the hat on your hand (on the palm area, because the fingers represent the gnome's beard).
  • Glue a pompom for the nose to the edge of the hat.
  • Decorate with a heart.
