Simple craft ideas for Valentine's Day gifts
We know that not everyone has the talent and nerve for long and complicated crafts. And luckily there are really simple options. In this case, you simply need to replace the original packaging with a homemade one. And for this you can buy a ready-made box and then decorate it with stickers or other things as you wish. Then fill in the Lindor balls and you're done! You can also add a nice ribbon with a bow and a small label with kind words.
In addition to a box, you can also use a nice mason jar or other transparent containeras packaginguse and design as desired.
You're mostly familiar with crackers from Christmas and New Year's Eve, but they're actually a cool idea for any occasion - including as a gift for Valentine's Day. And we promise that men and women alike will enjoy this Valentine's Day gift. In addition to the Lindt chocolate balls, you are welcome to add other small gifts.
- Popping strips for crackers
- Cardboard rolls (e.g. toilet paper rolls)
- Craft cardboard
- Scissors
- Heart shape punch
- Punch for tiny holes
- double-sided tape
- Wrapping foil or paper
- Confetti (homemade e.g. from tissue paper or purchased)
- Band
- Lindor chocolate balls or other candies
First, prepare everything you want to put in the Valentine's Day cracker. In addition to the confetti and the chocolate balls, these can be punched out hearts or other shapes, small pieces of paper with messages ormore sweets. Then cut a piece of foil/paper that is slightly wider than the circumference and longer than the cardboard rolls so that the ends can be tied.
Use the double-sided adhesive tape to stick the pop strip onto this piece of paper/foil, slightly in the middle. Place a roll along the strip and perforate the gift wrap along one of the two ends of the roll (see picture 4 in the instructions) so that it is easier to pull apart later (if you use foil, this is unnecessary with paper). Place the roll on the paper, roll the paper around it and tape it in place. (You can also fold two rolls together for a longer cracker.)
Tie one side closed and fill the rolls with the selected gifts. Then close the other side too. Complete! Now you canGift with sweetsGive it to your girlfriend or boyfriend for Valentine's Day.
Although it seems complicated at first glance, this craft project is quite easy to implement. You just need the right materials to make the gift with Lindor balls for Valentine's Day and these are the following:
- Wooden stick (also a real branch/twig)
- Styroporkugel
- Cubes or cuboids made of Styrofoam, foam or floral foam
- Flower pot or other container larger than the ball
- double-sided tape or hot glue
- Lindor balls (have you ever tried Lindor caramel salt?) and/or other sweets
- Gravel or decorative stones as weights
- Band
If you would like to make this Valentine's Day gift yourself, first insert the wooden stick into the ball. Then you can start gluing. Use double-sided tape or hot glue as desired. For the latter, simply put a small drop on the chocolate ball and press it into the desired location on the Styrofoam. It's best to start in the middle of the ball and work your way around. Then glue the next row offset from the previous one and above or below the first as desired.
Once the entire ball is covered, prepare the container by filling it with your chosen filling material. Distribute stones or other weights around it so that your Lindor tree doesn't fall over later. Then insert the other side of the wooden stick and cover the contents of the pot with more sweets, any decorative stones or other decorative material. Tie a bow around the stick with the ribbon and, if you like, add a label or card with a declaration of love.
Make candy sticks with Lindor balls for Valentine's Day
An equally quick and easy idea to make a gift out of Lindor balls are these cute sticksin heart shape. You need any craft cardboard, preferably glittery like in the example or with matching motifs. Print and cut out a heart template (e.g. our template below) and trace the shape onto the cardboard twice per Lindt chocolate ball. Cut out the shapes.
Now you need to cut a hole in both shapes that is as big or just a little bigger than the ball. Place one heart in front of you with the pretty side down, place a stick in the middle (below the hole) and glue the second heart on top with the pretty side up. Then put the candy in there.
