Make tree decorations out of music paper – quick instructions

Christmas is approaching - and with the Christmas spirit comes the desire for crafts. But most craft instructions involve purchasing different materials. A cost-effective alternative to this is tree decorations made from music paper - beautiful ornaments can be made with little effort and available household materials. We give you some easy-peasy but very effective ideas – let yourself be inspired!

Tree decorations made of music paper – poinsettia

For this romantic Christmas decoration you will need – music paper (optionally you can simply use wrapping paper), twine, fabric, buttons/rhinestones, scissors, pencil, glue, sewing machine.

Sew a star as a tree decoration

Prepare a cardboard template in two sizes, mark the smaller stars on the music paper and cut them out. Then mark the larger stars on the fabric and cut them out. Sew/or glue/the paper stars to the fabric stars. Glue a button/rhinestone to the center of each star.

Fold ornaments

So that you can do thisMake Christmas tree decorations, you will need the following materials – music paper, compass, cutter knife, glue, twine. Simply cut out 6 equally sized circles from music paper. Fold each circle in two, then glue the circles together. Use twine to hang the ornament on the Christmas tree.

If you have leftover music paper, you can make a garland out of it. Cut the paper into rectangles /2.5cm wide, 8cm long/. Glue the two corners of a rectangle together to form a ring. Glue the second ring to the first, etc. Drape the garland on the Christmas tree.
