Weeds with yellow flowers – winter cress (Barbarea vulgaris)
The leaves of this harmful plant are a shiny dark green color and can grow up to 20 centimeters long. Winter cress, also known as common barbara, is a plant that grows in grassy areas. The wild herb has thick leaves that produce large clusters of flowers in spring. If the yellow plants are small, they can be pulled out by hand and eradicated before they become a problem in the garden or landscaping. Unless they are very small, you should rip them up, mow them, and tear them out again before you can get rid of them for good. This will take some time.
These weeds are also common:
- Purslane (Purslane oleracea)
