No matter what material your kitchen cabinets are made of, as long as you clean your kitchen fronts with a mild cleaning agent, it will not harm the surfaces. Accordingly, more aggressive agents are absolutely taboo. Those containing synthetic resin or nitro thinner may also not be used if you want to be able to enjoy your beautiful fronts for a long time. Instead, use a normal household cleaner that you apply with a damp cloth. If the dirt is too stubborn for such a mild agent, soft soap is also suitable, but you should dilute it (3 parts water, 1 part soft soap).

Plastic kitchen fronts – the easiest material to clean
Degreasing cleaners and a soft sponge to avoid scratching are ideal when cleaning plastic kitchen fronts. For light dirt, these can be dissolved in water; for heavier dirt, the agent can be more concentrated without damaging the material. Glass cleaners (also for glass fronts in combination with glass leather) or special plastic cleaners are also suitable. Polishes or waxes are not suitable.
Clean yellowed kitchen fronts
Sometimes it's not the dirt itself that you want to get rid of, but ratherthe changed colorthat gets on your last nerve. White kitchens in particular tend to yellow over time due to exposure to sunlight and of course cooking fumes. This is of course annoying! How can you clean yellowed kitchen fronts? Try the following home remedy, as more aggressive methods are not recommended for most materials:
Take an all-purpose cleaner, white vinegar (not apple or other colored vinegar, as these will discolor the surface even more) or a wood cleaner and mix the product with water to create a milder solution. Fill them into a spray bottle and use them to apply the product to the fronts, where you distribute it in circular movements with a soft sponge. Leave the remedynotbut wipe it immediately with a soft, non-scratching, damp cloth. Finally, dry everything.
How do I get grease off kitchen cabinets?
Grease stains can be really stubborn and sometimes you can't get them off with the cleaners mentioned above. Try the followingwith stubborn fat:
- Dissolve a dishwasher tablet in water in a spray bottle, spray the surfaces, allow the solution to take effect briefly and then wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
or: - Mix vinegar and detergent in a 1:1 ratio and apply the mixture to the grease stains. After a short exposure time, wipe everything off with a damp, soft cloth.
