Dirt eraser principle and ingredients
The dirt eraser is made of melamine resin - a chemical compound with a high nitrogen content. This is widespread and is used in the production of adhesives, plastics, as well as forCoating of whiteboards, worktops and tableware used.
The open-pored melamine sponge works like extremely fine sandpaper and has tiny air pockets where dirt collects. In order for the active ingredient to develop its abrasive properties, you must first moisten the sponge and then simply rub it over the dirty area. No additional cleaning agents are required, which is also good for the environment. After use, simply wash and allow to air dry.
During use, the melamine particles and dirt rub off. Just like a traditional eraser, the sponge is getting smaller and smaller. To clean smaller areas, it makes sense to cut the dirt eraser into smaller cubes.
Instructions for use
Dirt erasers are a real miracle cure if you use them carefully and skillfully! Note that for any type of dirt, the melamine sponge should first be tested on a small and inconspicuous area. Only then is further use recommended. The more robust the surface, the more likely the dirt eraser is an option. You should not treat shiny, painted surfaces with it.
Using the dirt eraser works best on dirt that only has a thin surface. Rubbing too intensively can damage surfaces and materials. Caution is particularly advised with very sensitive, shiny or matt plastic, stainless steel or lacquered surfaces, as the melamine particles can leave ugly scratches.
